admit it. This is a shameless pun on C.S.Lewis’s
famous book. The theme all through the book is that
Catholicism is not different from other strands of
Christian belief. It is simply fuller and richer.
Why have ‘mere Christianity’ when you can have ‘more
Christianity’? I discuss all the main flashpoints
between Catholics and Evangelicals, but at every
point I affirm the good things about Evangelicals
and try to help the reader understand how the riches
of Catholicism complete and fulfil the Evangelical
experience. This is a non-threatening introduction
to Catholicism written specifically for Evangelical
Christians.
We
find here all the questions that arise vis-á-vis
the doctrine of the Church, and the fullness of
doctrine which she teaches. It is a beautiful book,
and one which any believer serious abut the ancient
Faith ought to find vastly rewarding.
